Use of Cookies

The 188 Worx website uses "cookies" to help you personalise your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. For example, if you personalise 188 Worx pages, or register with our site or services, a cookie helps 188 Worx recall your specific information on subsequent visits — simplifying the process of recording your personal information.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser settings to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the 188 Worx website.

Cookies cannot be used to capture your email address, obtain data from your hard drive, or gain confidential or sensitive information about you. Additionally, cookies cannot be read by a website other than the one that set the cookie.

Retention and Destruction

188 Worx retains personally identifiable information as long as necessary to provide the products and services for which the information was collected, to process and maintain a record of transactions, and as long as necessary for legal process or to satisfy government retention requirements.

When the retention period expires, 188 Worx destroys data that was maintained in any form in a manner that renders it completely unusable and incapable of restoration.
